Sadly, we've been tracking some breaking news overnight coming out of Ferguson, Missouri. An exchange of gunfire between police and a suspect who was shot forced demonstrators to duck for cover. Timing couldn't be worse with demonstrations coming right at the one year anniversary of Michael Brown's death. We'll start the show at 5 a.m. on WAFF 48 News Today with the latest.
Back in the valley, hundreds of WWII vets are expected to attend the victory celebration at the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville. They're marking the anniversary of the victory over Japan 70 years ago. Muriel Bailey will be live with a special report this morning at 6:00 a.m.
