AT 10: Monitoring a possible drowning in Harvest

Good Wednesday evening.
We’re continuing to dig for details into a possible drowning in Madison County. A woman was found unresponsive in a swimming pool off Kelly Ridge Drive in Harvest this afternoon. Madison County Sheriff’s investigators tell us an investigation is underway and they, and we, will release details when they become available.
With Alabama facing a budget deficit, and Governor Bentley pushing for a tax increase, talk to establish a lottery and allow for other gaming in the state is heating up. In fact, a new poll by the Alabama Jobs Foundation shows that the majority want a chance to vote on the issue.  WAFF 48’s Tiani Jones spoke with State Representative Mike Ball about this hot topic.  Hear what he has to say.
And two women pulled off a “smelly” crime in a fragrance store. We’ll show you the surveillance video and explain how they turned this from a theft into a robbery with just a few words in this week’s Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers.
We’ll see you at 10.
