(WAFF) - Grab the popcorn, candy, soft drinks, and anything else terribly bad for you because you can on National Junk Food Day.
July 21 is dubbed National Junk Food Day, according to http://www.holidayinsights.com/other/junkfoodday.htm.
Some people celebrate this weird holiday on a regular basis, but for the health nuts, Tuesday is the day you splurge and get a little wild.
According to the Holiday Insights site, the junky holiday has no real origin and was likely created by a diet conscious person who wanted to eat some sweets and carbs without the guilt to go along. However, there is no record showing that it's and "official national holiday."
Nevertheless, celebrate all foods "bad" for you body and go ahead and pig out.
Whatever junk you choose to consume, snap a picture and send it our way at email@example.com or pix.waff.com. You can even Tweet/Instagram it using #WAFFpix and #WAFFJunkFoodDay and look for it on WAFF.com and WAFF 48 News.
