(WAFF) - A Birmingham man is among four people injured Sunday in a small plane crash in Nevada.
Officials with the City of Henderson, Nevada said the crash happened around 1:22 p.m. local time in a desert area.
FAA officials said the single-engine Piper Cherokee crashed just after takeoff from Henderson Executive Airport. The plane was en route to southern California.
One of the passengers reported on board the craft was 33-year-old Andrew Brown of Birmingham, according to a report from KSNV-TV.
Brown was listed in critical condition at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
The names and conditions of the other occupants have not been released.
