Chattanooga Tragedy

Today, we're learning more about the suspected gunman in yesterday's Chattanooga shootings. 24-year-old Muhammad Youseef Abdulazeez, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Kuwait, was a Hixson resident. Abdulazeez is suspected of shooting eight people, including a Chattanooga police officer. Police say shots were fired around 9:30 a.m CT Thursday in Chattanooga. The four Marines and the lone gunman were killed in the shooting.

House fire in Boaz

An early-morning house fire in Boaz damaged one home and two surrounding buildings. Crews responded to the call of a house fire on Elm Street around 2:00 this morning. Once there, they found the house and two surrounding buildings on Darnell Street and Wells Avenue. Investigators say they aren't yet sure what caused the fire.

Stop-and-Save robbery

Huntsville police are searching for the suspects in a late-night armed robbery. Police say that multiple armed people entered the Stop and Save on Highway 53 in Harvest and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash. K9 units responded to the scene to help search for the suspects.
