LEGO fun at the library

This weekend, you can check out lots of LEGOS at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.

The 2015 Bricktastic LEGO Show will be Saturday, June 27th from 9am to 5pm and Sunday, June 28th from 1pm to 5pm. It costs $8 for a weekend pass and $5 for a single day pass. The money raised will benefit library programs.

The Tennessee Valley LEGO Club will have all kinds of structures to show off. "We're bringing all kinds of trains, buildings, all kinds of different individual MOC's, that's my mock creation, and we're just going to have a great time. We're going to have lots of great giveaways for the kids and it looks like it's going to be a really fun weekend," says Chris Bolton, president of the Tennessee Valley Lego Club.

If you're not into LEGOS, there will be other things to do too! There will be crafts, movies, trivia, and more!

Curse, Inc., First LEGO League Alabama, Hampton Cove Middle School, Sci-Quest, Destination Imagination, and Making Connections will also have presentations during the weekend.

David: Showers and storms ongoing across the Valley

    Saturday, March 25 2017 5:50 PM EDT2017-03-25 21:50:37 GMT

Showers and storms will be ongoing across the Valley this evening. The most widespread rain will be over northeastern AL, but additional scattered storms will track into the Shoals from the west. That round of stormy weather will head east with time and should be out of the Valley after midnight. The threat for severe storms is low, but a few strong storms are possible.
