HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Good morning! Here are some things to keep your eye on during the day:

Crews working to find what caused an early morning apartment fire.

Today, crews are working to find out what exactly cause an apartment building to go up in flames on Sparkman Drive. 13 people are displaced after the blaze consumed two units of an eight unit building.

The fire seems to have started in building "V". Authorities are on the scene at this time working to put out hot spots. They did confirm that the fire was contained to only one building with eight units. Only two of the eight units were on fire.

As this story progresses, we will pass along any new information we have.

Tune in to WAFF News at Noon for more information.

More heat and humidity can be expected through the middle of this week.

You know summer is here when you step outside and instantly start sweating. Temperatures will warm quickly with mostly sunny skies and light west winds.

We'll be into the lower 90s by lunchtime with highs into the upper 90s this afternoon. Clouds will increase and an isolated storm could pop up this afternoon, but most of us will stay rain free.

We stay warm and muggy tonight with a few clouds; lows will be in the low-to-mid 70s.

Hope you have a great day!
