Woman seen near home before destructive Lawrenceburg fire

LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WAFF) -

Investigators believe a fire which destroyed a home in Lawrenceburg TN on Thursday night is suspicious.

The Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded to a home on the 400 block of Nixon Avenue.

The home and an adjacent residence suffered damage as a result of the fire.

Witnesses told investigators a woman between the ages of 20-30 was seen walking between the two houses nearly a half-hour before the fire was reported.

The owner of the home was out of town at the time.

The woman is described as having shoulder-length brown hair that was seen in a ponytail. She was also wearing white or khaki Capri-style pants and a light blue or lavender shirt with the sleeves rolled up.
