PIN plucked from purse in petty theft

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Video surveillance shows a man making an ATM transaction January 26.

The problem is, according to police, he used a forged check and a stolen debit card from a purse he stole.

Police say the victim had written her personal identification number (PIN) written down along with her other banking information.

This crook was able to deposit a forged check and then get money back from the ATM account.

So this crook pretty much had all he needed to steal her money. The pictures of this crook are pretty good, as are most ATM surveillance shots.

People tend to lean in all over the camera - as he did.

Do you know him? If you do, you'll be making a pretty substantial ATM deposit.

All you have to do is make the anonymous call to 256-53-Crime, or you can anonymously text or email your information. You could earn up to $1,000 in reward money.
