Police officer slams 14-year-old to ground

(WAFF) -

Good morning everyone!

It's a busy Monday morning. We're staying on top of a developing story out of Marshall County, where deputies are investigating a stabbing.

A neighbor called 9-1-1 after finding the man bleeding on her front porch.

In Lauderdale County, a woman who's accused of faking her credentials so she could works as a counselor in child custody cases, is getting ready to go to trail.

We'll have a preview..

Everyone seems to be talking about a video from Dallas which shows a police officer slamming a 14 year old girl to the ground.

This all started after police were called to check out a complaint about a fight at a pool party.

You have to see this video so you can let us know what you think!

If you haven't walked outside yet, let me tell you, it's muggy out there! We'll talk to meteorologist David Ernst about this weather you can wear!

We'll also talk about the Stars new baseball home and how Lebron James really came through last night in the NBA finals.

It's a jam-packed morning. We'll see you soon on WAFF 48 news!
