Look Ahead: Sources say teen in critical condition after late night shoot in Leighton. 4 involved in 'weekend crime spree' in court today.

Good morning! Here are some things that you need to keep your eye out for during the day:

Investigators search for answers to late night shooting in Leighton.

We are working to find out more on the teenager that was shot late Wednesday night in Leighton. 

Sources close to the investigation say the teen was flown to Birmingham and is in stable but critical condition.

A shooting was reported before 9:30 p.m. in the area of Jarmon Way in Leighton.

Officials said one teenager was injured in the shooting and that one person is in custody.

Leighton police were also at the scene.

The victim was first flown to Huntsville Hospital then to Birmingham.

Eastbound I-565 back open after early morning 3-car wreck.

We are working to find out why the driver of a car slammed into the back of two cars that were pulled off on the shoulder of I-565.

Three ambulances were on the scene and it appears that a car, an SUV, and a truck were involved in the wreck. Two people were inside the car, one person in the SUV and one person was in the truck.

Officers said that one person was hit outside of the car.

At least two people were loaded into ambulances, but officers said that they do not expect their injuries to be life threatening.

Officers on the scene say that two cars were pulled off on the shoulder before the other car slammed into them. The truck was on the shoulder getting jumped off by the SUV when the car slammed into them at a high rate of speed.

No fatalities have been reported.

Today, four suspects charged with murder are expected to appear in court.

Amani Goodwin, Cedric Cowan, Cortez Mitchell and Joseph Cowan are all charged with two counts of capital murder and four counts of robbery.

They're accused of killing Joshua Davis and Antonio Hernandez last month.

Investigators said this was part of a weekend crime spree where they also robbed a woman at gunpoint and a man riding a bike.
