Police search for suspects after shooting in Huntsville. Arrests made as part of FIFA corruption probe.

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Good morning!

Police search for two suspects after a man was shot in a home on Shady Lane Circle.

Police said that the man was shot at a home on Shady Lane Circle at around 10:30 Tuesday night.

Police also tell us that the man that was shot is in critical condition. It is understood that both of the men that police are searching for were wearing dark clothes and masks.

Listen up soccer fans: Swiss police arrested six top FIFA officials during an overnight raid Wednesday on charges of corruption.

The U.S. Justice Department is taking on FIFA.

In all, 9 FIFA officials and four corporate executives, including two vice presidents, were named in an indictment released by the U.S. Justice Department on Wednesday.

The raids were conducted in Zurich, where members of soccer's scandal-plagued governing body were gathering for an election Friday that could give its leader Sepp Blatter a fifth term. The election is scheduled to go on as planned despite the raids and indictments.

The Swiss federal office of justice said the suspects accepted bribes and kickbacks totaling more than $100 million from the early 1990s until now.

More hit-or-miss storms will develop into the afternoon. The threat for severe remains low, but a few stronger storms aren't out of the question. Heavy rain and damaging wind gusts would be the main threats with any storms.
