HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Good morning!

We have new details on an officer involved shooting in Huntsville Monday night.

Three people were hospitalized following an incident on Gateway Drive, just off of Hobbs Road in Huntsville Monday night. Police said that the argument was between two brothers.

They said that one brother stabbed the other, and when the brother that was stabbed went to a neighbor for help, the other brother stabbed the neighbor.

Huntsville police were called to a small apartment complex just before 10 p.m. Two people were injured with knife wounds; a third person was shot.

Officials said the person who was shot was also responsible for the knife attack. When two police officers arrived to the scene, they saw the man coming down the stairs with a knife in his hand.

The search continues for 12 missing after flooding in Texas sweeps away vacation home.

Recovery teams are set to resume looking for the 12 members of two families who authorities say are missing after a rain-swollen river in Central Texas carried a vacation home off its foundation, slamming it into a bridge downstream.

One person who was rescued from the home told workers that the other 12 inside were all connected to two families, Cobb said. Young children were among those believed to be missing.

The investigation is ongoing.

Rain and storms possible for today.

A line of strong thunderstorms is ongoing to our southwest. The most intense activity will stay south of the Valley and push into the Gulf this morning. Scattered showers with a few rumbles of thunder can be expected this far north. Temperatures are mild once again, and most of us are in the mid-to-upper 60s.

Additional storms will develop as we warm up today. Some of those storms could be strong with damaging wind gusts being the primary threat along with locally heavy rain and lightning.
