Woman, daughter beaten - neighbors react

Good Wednesday evening and Happy Hump Day!

We're continuing to follow the disturbing story of a woman and her two-year-old daughter who were severely beaten and locked in a shed in Athens. The woman tells police the attacker is her boyfriend, who accused her of cheating on her. James Johnson has been arrested for assault and kidnapping. The woman was hit with a wrench and stabbed with a screwdriver. Her 2-year old sustained injuries such as a broken arm and a fractured skull. WAFF 48's Tiani Jones spoke with horrified neighbors tonight.

How many dangerous intersections can you name in your community? Well, our Sarah Navoy sorted through hundreds of crash reports across the Tennessee Valley to find out which intersections and stretches of roadway rank among the worst in North Alabama. Don't miss her special report "Danger Zone Driving."

Plus, a picture could be worth up to a thousand dollars for you. An alleged debit card crook is captured so clearly on surveillance video, you might want to hurry up and turn him in before someone else does. That's in our weekly Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers report.

We hope you'll join us at 10.
