The Music World Loses Another Legend

The Music World Loses Another Legend

The news came down just a few hours ago. Blues legend B.B. King passed away last night in Las Vegas. He was 89.

This morning, tributes are pouring in from all corners of the music world. And we're on top of that for you. Our Raycom News Network partners in Memphis are talking with everyone they can find, and our Lauren Morrison will bring it all to you from the Alert Center.

Here in the valley, we're still on verdict watch in Joel Moyers' capital murder case. Muriel Bailey will get you caught up on what jurors are considering.

We got spoiled by the cool temperatures the last few mornings. It's much warmer and muggier this morning, and I have to think there's rain coming sometime soon. I'll be sure to check with Meteorologist David Ernst often. He has those cool tools, Storm Tracker Doppler Radar and Pinpoint Predictor to tell him when you're going to get rain. So, check that out!

And I see minor league baseball, a fishing rodeo and a food truck rally on tap in this weekend's events. We'll take a closer look so you can plan our fun.

After all, it's Friday! So, let's get to it.

I'll see you on TV for WAFF 48 News Today. And have a great day and an even better weekend!
