Good Friday evening and TGIF!
Earlier this evening we told you about two North Alabama men who were arrested following a state-wide child pornography bust. The two are David Knight of Decatur and Richard Bryant of Ardmore. Our Vincent Crivelli went to Ardmore knocking on Bryant's door. He was able to speak with one of Bryant's neighbors. Hear that interview at 10.
Plus, we're continuing to cover a potentially life-changing program for some Valley students. When the new Jemison High School opens in 2016, it'll offer an advanced college academy that could have students starting college as juniors. WAFF 48's Tiani Jones will have more from the Director of the Magnet Programs for Huntsville City Schools.
And Governor Bentley was in Huntsville today, once again talking up his tax proposal. He says if the plan isn't passed, it could result in the closing of Huntsville's only forensic sciences facility. That would mean 22 counties in North Alabama would have to transport bodies three hours away to Montgomery.
