Investigators search for missing Jackson Co. woman

JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A helicopter is assisting in the search for a missing woman in Jackson County.

Ashley Grider Kennedy, who has also gone by the last name of Harris, was last seen walking in the area of Highway 72 near County Road 85 between 11 p.m. Friday and midnight.

Ashley is 34 years old, with blue eyes and brown hair with highlights.

She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a dark tank top, no shoes and wearing glasses.

[EDITOR'S NOTE: Authorities said Ashley Kennedy was transported to the hospital Sunday night after stealing a car which she later crashed during a police pursuit. Click here for more.]

    A school bus accident occurred Friday morning in Decatur.  The accident occurred at 11th St. SW and W.
