Hey there, here is a look ahead of what's going on today!

Today marks the 25th Anniversary of Hubble Telescope.

A space telescope made right here in Huntsville transformed the way we search the stars and today, the Hubble space telescope celebrates 25 years of sending back celestial pictures.

Today, Marshall Space Flight center and the US Space and Rocket Center are joining together to celebrate the Hubble's achievements.

Hubble project manager Jim Odom will speak to Space Camp trainees this morning. It will be part of a full day of activities celebrating the space telescope.

We'll have more on WAFF News at Noon.

Panoply Arts Festival opens at 5 p.m.

Looking for something fun and different to do with the family this weekend? Today at 5 p.m., the Panoply Arts Festival will begin!

WAFF spoke with organizers Thursday and they said the show will go on even if it rains unless it's severe weather. They won't setup any special tents or anything to keep attendees dry, so make sure you have an umbrella or poncho on standby.

Don't forget your sun glasses this morning, but you may need an umbrella by afternoon.

Quiet this morning with mostly sunny skies. Cool with temperatures ranging from the upper 30s into the upper 40s. Clouds will increase into the afternoon.

An isolated storm may pop up this afternoon with highs into the low/mid 70s. More widespread storms overnight…some storms strong.

Hope you have a great day and a fantastic weekend!
