Soooo.....the battle over same-sex issues in the state continues in much more areas than just marriage. Now, a new bill is working it's way through committee that would allow private adoption agencies to turn away gay couples on religious grounds. Of course, there are two sides to this one, but opponents believe this could legalize a broad range of discrimination in the name of religion. We'll explain more at 5

Those driver license fees going from $23.50 to $36.25 may be sticking around. We'll tell you why getting it to go into effect is being blocked by at 5:00 a.m.

Speaking of driving, your teen driver may soon be required to get more hours of practice on the road before they get their license. Muriel Bailer will break that issue down at 5:30 a.m. & 6:30 a.m.

A 15 year old boy is missing from Albertville. Jason Richards was last seen on February 8th. There's now a $5,000 reward for information on his disappearance. We'll have his picture up for you to take a good look at 5:07 a.m.

Elections for Superintendents? Yep, a few districts in the state still elect their superintendents like Lawrence county schools but lawmakers are working to do away with that. A legislative committee approved the measure which would make superintendents appointed positions by local school boards.
