Huntsville Animal Services has an adoption special during April

 From the City of Huntsville:

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Sleek. Chic. And oh so sweet! Black dogs, puppies, cats and kittens are ready for their new homes. To inspire you to adopt these dark furry friends, Huntsville Animal Services is reducing the adoption fee to $10. The fee includes rabies and other vaccinations, a one-year city pet license, a microchip and registration, spay or neuter surgery and more.

The most frequent colored cat and dog to enter the City's Shelter is a solid black or mostly black-coated pet. Simply put, adopting a black coated pet saves a life.

Don't miss out on this month's special adoption fee starting April 9th and ending April 31st.

For more information, visit Friends of Huntsville Animal Services on Facebook or call 256-883-3783 for shelter hours and location.

Cloud cover has been persistent through the morning, but those clouds should start breaking up this afternoon. While we have been slow to warm under cloudy skies, highs should still push into the mid-70s with more sunshine late. ?
