 Decatur, Ala. (March 31, 2015) – The American Bass Anglers, who conducts the largest and most prestigious tournament trail for weekend anglers, is bringing two of its Tournament Series to the River City in 2015. The 100% Plus Team Tour arrives on April 18, 2015, with a guaranteed first place prize of a Triton Boat/Mercury Outboard package valued at $22K followed by the Weekend Bass Series scheduled for May 2, 2015.

Earlier this year, the American Bass Anglers launched the 100% Plus Team Tour, the first of its kind with 100% plus payback at every event this season. With a full field of 200 teams, events will payout $60,000 in cash and prizes. First place at each event will be a new 2015 Triton Boat with a Mercury Outboard, MotorGuide Trolling Motor fully rigged with sponsor product valued at $20,000 and is guaranteed.

Open to current members of the American Bass Anglers who are 16 years and older, the Weekend Bass Series is set to return to Wheeler Lake on May 2, 2015. Up to 200 amateur anglers and co-anglers will compete for a total purse of up to $52,000 cash plus sponsor-supported bonuses.

The Weekend Bass Series is designed for the weekend bass angler offering 100 qualifying events annually. In each qualifying event, the winning boater may receive up to $5,000 cash, based on a full field. The winner may also qualify for another $7,000 in Triton Gold bonus money totaling $12,000 for the day. The winning co-angler in each event may win up to $2,500, with a full field, plus the opportunity to collect significant bonus cash and prizes from tournament sponsors. Only largemouth, smallmouth, spotted or Redeye bass will be weighed. The limit for boaters is five and three for co-anglers.
