HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - An Amber Alert that went out Thursday morning after a Union Springs girl was taken from her school has been canceled.

Aaliyah Linton has been found safe in Lexington County, SC, and her aunt and grandmother are now facing kidnapping charges. The girl was located during a traffic stop on Interstate 20.

Police have also identified the child's father as Alton Linton, although it is not clear at this time what charges he may face.
