(WAFF) - Happy Tuesday & Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Margo Gray here with your morning headlines.

It will be a rough week for two children who happened to stumble across a dead body in Huntsville last night. They found the body which has not yet been identified in a field behind an apartment complex on Torrance Drive. Right now, police say they believe the man, maybe in his 40's died of natural causes, but they're hoping an autopsy will either confirm that or lead them in another direction.

Hey remember all those shootings over the weekend in Huntsville? Six to be exact...well, police are now saying they were connected. Muriel Bailey will have those details at 5:30 a.m. & 6:30 a.m.

This same-sex marriage battle between judges is getting ugly. A federal judge is not backing off her order to an Alabama probate judge that he must issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. On Monday, Judge Granade, the same judge who ruled in January that Alabama's gay-marriage ban is unconstitutional told Mobile County Probate Judge Don Davis that he could not refuse marriage licenses because of a couple's sexual orientation. Following the state Supreme Court decision earlier this month, Davis shut down all marriage-license operations altogether to avoid running afoul of either order.

Speaking of same-sex marriage, the most out-spoken man against it Chief Justice Roy Moore is now dealing with some family drama. His son, Caleb Moore was picked up on drug charges over the weekend. Police say he had marijuana and Xanax pills in his possession. He posted a rant on facebook last night. If you haven't seen it yet, Lauren Morrison will have that for you at 5:30 & 6:30 a.m. in the Alert Center.

...And the arrest of a Madison Police officer is now impacting some criminal cases. The Madison City attorney told us they had to drop the ones Parker was the only witness to. Eric Parker faces assault charges after dash cam video showed him slamming an elderly man from India to the ground.

Alrighty, I'll see you in a bit. I hope you have a great day & there's no excuse, we get a repeat of great weather!!!
