Oh, look. It's raining again. I don't know about you, but I still don't mind it, as long as we hold onto these warm temperatures. Meteorologist David Ernst is on that for you this morning. He'll pull out Pinpoint Predictor to show you how long you can expect rain where you are today. Look for his forecast every ten minutes, Weather On The Tens. http://bit.ly/GSwBfq
As always, be careful on the roads. I found some standing water on Memorial Parkway driving in while it was pouring. I even lost traction a couple of times. I'll let you know about any accidents out there this morning throughout WAFF 48 News Today and The Today Show. Also, make sure you follow me on Twitter (@JimA48).
In the news, it's Day 2 of Joyce Garrard's capital murder trial. She's the Etowah County woman accused of running her 9-year-old granddaughter until she collapsed and died. Muriel Bailey gets us caught up at 5:00 and 6:00 a.m.
And you know how it goes with Lauren Morrison. Even she doesn't know what news will pop up for the Alert Center. But I just took a peek at her first live report at 5:00. She's delving into a bill being debated in Montgomery that would protect pastors and probate judges from being sued if they didn't want to perform same-sex marriages.
For the rest, you'll have to find out with me. WAFF 48 News Today is on your TV right now. All you have to do is hit power on that remote, and let's go!
