HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Due to the winter storm that hit Alabama this week, state revenue officials are extending some of the state's tax deadlines.

The February deadlines for motor vehicle registrations, renewals, transfers and tax payments are March 6.

Numerous government offices closed this week because of the storm.

Most of North Alabama saw at least 8 inches of snow or more this week.

The change involves any counties where offices were closed from Wednesday onward.
