Overnight Huntsville Fire Injures Seven People

Overnight Huntsville Fire Injures Seven People

We're on the scene of this condominium complex fire in Huntsville this morning. The fire broke out about 2:43 a.m. at Cobblestone on Pine Circle, which is just off Sparkman Drive. At last word, seven people were injured. Our Muriel Bailey is on the scene. She'll update us on how they're doing, starting at 5:00.

It's good news, bad news when it comes to the roads this morning. Which do you want first? I'll start with the good news. The roads aren't bad. At least, that's what we found. Still, be careful. You may find some isolated patches of black ice. The bad news? The roads are going to be a lot busier later this morning with a lot of schools and businesses delayed by several hours.

It's still quite cold out. Tomorrow morning, it should be much, much colder. Meteorologist David Ernst is looking at temperatures in the single digits. He'll show you with Pinpoint Predictor in his Weather On The Tens. http://bit.ly/GSwBfq

And it's Fat Tuesday! So, Happy Mardi Gras to you. We'll take a peek in New Orleans and see how they're celebrating down in the Big Easy.

And I'm still scouring the wires for breaking news. I'll show you what we've found from now until 7:00 a.m. I'll see you on the TV!
