Madison Co. twin found guilty of attempted sodomy, sexual abuse

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Madison County man accused of assaulting two girls was found guilty on Thursday of attempted sodomy and sexual abuse on one indictment and awaits a trial on his second indictment.

He was arrested twice within eight days for sex crimes in 2014.

Lucas was arrested in January of 2014 and charged with first-degree sexual abuse and attempted sodomy with a minor.

One week after posting bond and leaving jail, he committed new sex crimes with a different victim. He was arrested and additionally charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse. Investigators said the victims are teenagers.

Lucas's twin brother Aaron Lucas pleaded guilty the year before to kidnapping and four counts of sex assault of a child in Colorado.

Aaron had originally blamed Brian for the crimes.
