HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - We start this week with another road for police officers to check. It's, rather ironically, Toll Gate Road in Huntsville.
One person commenting on See, Click, Fix says although the speed limit is 30 mph, drivers speed down the street. She's concerned about her children who play outdoors.
We checked it out and didn't see any speeders, but late morning is obviously not rush hour. Huntsville Police are on the case now. So, expect to see patrol cars checking speed.
Now, to more problems in the roads; Maysville Road, in particular. There are several potholes between Randolph and and Pratt Avenue. The person who posted this would like to see Maysville repaved from Randolph to Oakwood Avenue, but that may take a while. For now, Public Works crews will head out to patch the holes.
And it's a similar situation on St. Clair Avenue. Construction work has torn up St. Clair from the hospital to the new apartment parking deck. Public Works is also set to do patchwork here.
