Same Sex Marriage Battle Gets More Interesting

It's going to be an interesting morning. Same sex marriages are set to start today, but how many will? Last night, State Chief Justice Roy Moore ordered probate judges to neither issue nor recognize same sex marriage licenses.

You'll hear from Justice Moore. We're also checking with couples set to go ahead with ceremonies, part of Wedding Week in Huntsville. We're also going to talk live with Ryan Anderson. He's the family and marriage analyst for the conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation. Look for him just after 6:10 a.m.

In other news, SpaceX will take another shot at launching a space observatory today. President Obama's meeting with German Chancellor Angela Markel to talk ISIS. And Sam Smith's the name you need to know from last night's Grammys.

And beware a little rain this morning. Meteorologist David Ernst is tracking it for you. Look for him every ten minutes during WAFF 48 News Today.

Now, let's go have a great Monday. We'll get you started. Your morning show's on right now. Just turn to 48!
