Snow Flurries Are Still On The Way This Morning

I just took that picture outside the station at 4:00 a.m. There's nothing much to see there right now, but let me tell you. It's quite a bit colder now than when I arrived an hour ago. Meteorologist David Ernst says the tricky weather's still on the way. We could still see some snow flurries in the valley in another hour or two. So, make sure you check in often during WAFF 48 News Today to see what's falling and where. Here's your Storm Tracker Doppler Radar

. You can access it live 24 hours a day.

Of course, that could mean overpasses could get slick right at morning rush. We have Muriel Bailey and Lauren Morrison standing by to check out any slick spots out there for you. We even called in Meteorologist Lauren Jones to help with the weather and road conditions. Remember, we'll update you as well on Twitter (@waff48 and @JimA48).

In the news, not everyone's for a new Monrovia High School. You've heard new Superintendent Matt Massey's thoughts. This morning, you'll hear from a group that says he's right.

Have you seen "American Sniper"? It was a good movie. Even if you haven't seen it, you may find this interesting. The man accused of killing the main character, played by Bradley Cooper, will be in court today. Jury selection starts in his trial. We'll break it all down for you.

And we'll recap just how well your team fared on National Signing Day yesterday.

Can I get a "Roll Tide"? Maybe a "War Eagle"? Feel free to fill in your own chant here.

And shout it out loud while you watch WAFF 48 News Today. Now, let's take the field!
