After the college football season ends, there is soon another major event that piques everyone's interest - National Signing Day, the preview of the upcoming season.
Wednesday, parents all across North Alabama will be smiling proud as their sons and daughters ink their names on National Letters of Intent.
It also marks a big day for Alabama, Auburn and the rest of the Southeastern Conference as they stockpile talent for the future.
For Alabama the hay is pretty much "in the barn." The Tide is on their way to yet another top-ranked Recruiting Class.
On the eve of Signing Day, Auburn is just outside the top 10, but they are in play for 5 big names on signing day that could jump them way up the rankings.
Locally, Alabama and Auburn will have big names signing.
Just a few of the local signings that will have some eyeballs include Madison Academy's Kerryon Johnson, who will make it official that he's heading to Auburn. That signing will happen at 9:30 a.m.
Over in Florence, Keaton Anderson will sign his name to play for Alabama.
Then a little history will be made at Brindlee Mountain and James Clemens. Stepehen Clark will become the first football player from Brindlee Mountain to sign a Division Letter of Intent.
The Jets will have three players sign on the dotted line - a first for James Clemens.
