HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police are looking for the man who held up a trio of cash store employees Thursday.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Check Into Cash store at 1407 North Memorial Parkway.

Investigators said a man armed with a gun went into the store and behind the counter, demanding money.

He took all the cash from two registers as the three employees looked on.

The man then took all three to the back of the store, where a safe is located. It was empty.

Several cruisers and K-9 units were brought to the scene in search of the suspect, however it was not clear if the man fled on foot or in a getaway car.

No injuries were reported.

Police are reviewing surveillance tape to see if they can identify the armed robber.
