Firefighter injured battling Harolds Dr. blaze

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Fire & Rescue called at least four units to the scene of a house fire.

Crews were called to a home at 302 Harolds Drive just before 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Harolds Drive is north of Old Madison Pike and just west of Wynn Drive.

Crews arrived to see flames and smoke pouring from the roof of the home.

One firefighter was injured by a fall from a ladder while inside the house; he was transported by HEMSI to Huntsville Hospital. The extent of the firefighter's injuries is not known at this time.

Four people were displaced by the fire, none of whom were injured. The Red Cross has been contacted to assist the occupants.

The fire appears to have started in the attic, however a full investigation is pending.
