HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Governor Robert Bentley will join state and local officials in Huntsville for a major jobs announcement on Friday.

The announcement is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Leaders from Huntsville, Madison County, and Limestone County will join the governor for the event.

It will take place on Moquin Drive in Huntsville. Officials have not said what it will be except that it is a "major jobs announcement."

At least some of the jobs are manufacturing jobs and sources with direct knowledge of the deal say it involves "more than just a few hundred jobs."

The city of Athens has been asked to be involved in the incentives package to bring this unnamed company to the Tennessee Valley. It's unclear how much money, if any, Athens will give toward the project.

A person with direct knowledge of the negotiations said an outdoor recreational vehicle manufacturing company is moving to the Tennessee Valley. The deal came together within a matter of months, which is very quick for a project of this size.

We will be streaming the conference on WAFF.com/live.
