MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - The Convenient Mart along Highway 75 in Albertville scored a 76 with the Marshall County Health Department. The inspector reported three critical violations. Meat biscuits in the warmer were 17 to 44 degrees below the temperature required to prevent bacterial growth in hot-holding food. The inspector reported that a hose connected in the ice maker room did not have back siphonage protection. That's required to ensure contaminated water does not flow back into the water supply. The Convenient Mart also lost points because a bottle of cleaner was unlabeled.

One critical violation was reported at the B & A Quick Stop in Albertville as they scored an 83. The inspector reported that damage on the top of the ice maker exposed ice to contamination.

The Brindlee Mountain Food Mart scored in Union Grove scored an 87, seven points better than last time and good enough to get off of the health department's reinspection schedule.

Rhoda P's Catering in Florence scored a 99 with the Lauderdale County Health Department, making them a Kitchen Cops High Performer.
