Smoke visible from Huntsville house fire

Smoke could be seen for miles from the site of a fire in midtown Huntsville Monday afternoon.

The call went out before 2:30 p.m. for a house fire on Lawrence Avenue.

Flames and smoke could be seen pouring from windows, as well as the roof.

The home was boarded up when they arrived; crews removed charred furniture from inside.

Crews are still working to determine what caused the fire. There have been no reports of injuries.
