MADISON, AL (WAFF) - Madison police called in a crew from the Alabama Department of Transportation to make an emergency repair on a stretch of Madison Boulevard Tuesday night.
Police had responded to calls of shredded or damaged tires on an area of road west of Glenn Hearn Boulevard.
ALDOT crews were laying down tar to patch the gap. The road was reopened to traffic after about an hour.
No injuries were reported as a result of the damage.
