HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Several school systems have invested a lot of money to put iPads in the hands of students.

But dozens of those iPads recently made their into the hands of a couple of crooks.

You can help us send these two from the school house to the jail house in this week's Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers.

The two burglars are seen walking the halls of Martin Luther King Elementary School in Huntsville Nov. 4th.

But they weren't there to learn. They were there to loot.

And they had their "eyes" on the iPads being used by students in a couple of classrooms.

These crooks didn't just steal one or two. Police say they made off with 31 of these things.

Even at a discounted price the schools pay, that's still well into the thousands.

In fact, since this involves a school, how about math lesson?

31 iPads, even at an estimated cost of $200 each - we're talking about $6,200.

But as they were stealing those high-tech tools, they were captured by another high-tech tool: the school's surveillance system.

That system gives us a pretty good look at the faces of both men.

If you know who they are, there's some nice Christmas money in it for you, to the tune of up to $1,000.

Just make the anonymous call to 256-53-Crime.

Or you can text or e-mail your tips.
