Police find deceased man near Adventist Blvd.

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police and the Madison County Coroner investigated a crime scene in a wooded area off Adventist Boulevard.

The Madison County Coroner left the scene with a body. According to officials, the body had an apparent gunshot wound. Madison County Investigators identified the body as Kenneth Turner.

Huntsville police said the investigation is connected with the murder that happened Wednesday in Madison in which officers found Arun Noble shot to death in a parking lot off Shelton Road.

Madison Police confirmed a person of interest is in custody in Wednesday's murder. The District Attorney's Office is assisting in this investigation.

WAFF 48 crews saw Madison County District Attorney Rob Broussard at the Huntsville scene. Broussard referred questions to Huntsville Police.

    Our news gathering partner at the Decatur Times Daily reports the city of Sheffield in Colbert County is dealing with a staffing shortage in their fire department.  Fire Chief Dewey King, who is also the city's public safety director, says that low wages are contributing to a high turnover rate.
