Roll Out The Veterans Day Parade

Roll Out The Veterans Day Parade

Good Tuesday morning! It's Veterans Day, and we have plenty planned for you this morning to honor our service men and women. We have several to introduce you to this morning. So, look for those throughout WAFF 48 News Today.

We're also rolling out our annual Veterans Day Parade again this year. It starts in downtown Huntsville at 11:00 this morning. Tiani, David and I will be riding in it, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else who will be joining us. Our Muriel Bailey will run down what you need to know about the parade at 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. And send us your patriotic pictures through Twitter: #WAFFSalute

Streets like Clinton, Monroe and Greene will be closed from about 8:00 to 1:30 today. So, if you're driving downtown, keep that in mind today.

I know many of you are curious about the Highway 72 project in Madison and what they're doing at UAH. We have updates on both of those for you at the top of the hours.

And in other news, the verdict's in for the South Korean ferry captain. He wasn't found guilty of murder, but he's still going to prison for decades.

There's a lot more in the rundown, so join us for the rest of what's going on right now. I have to run off to the set. I'll see you on TV.

Have a great Tuesday!
