DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Police have located a suspect possibly related to a shooting that happened in Fyffe on Saturday night.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened on County Road 578.
DeKalb County Sheriff, Jimmy Harris, said the incident stemmed from an argument between two men.
When police arrived, Mikey Johnson was found dead in the front yard. Officials said Johnson was shot multiple times.
Officials had been on the lookout for a possible suspect in the incident, Eddie Wooten. Sheriff Harris said Wooten has caused problems before, and that his family and friends helped hide him when he had a burglary charge.
Eddie Wooten is now in custody and is a person of interest in this case. He is being questioned as is a second person who was apprehended Sunday morning.
The incident is under further investigation.
