Huntsville man robbed during gun sale

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville Police Department responded to a robbery call on the 3000 block of Meridian Street Friday at approximately 12:45 a.m.

The victim told officers that he had arranged to sell a handgun to two unknown suspects. 

They met at the Chevron on Meridian Street. From there, the victim followed the suspects to Olympic Garden Apartments to carry out the transaction. 

When the victim handed the suspects the handgun and Bill of Sale, the suspects pulled their own handgun, tore up the bill of sale and threatened to shoot the victim. 

The suspects were last seen going north bound on Meridian Street in a gold Chevy Impala. One of the suspects had a blue Nike shirt on, the other had an unknown color sweatshirt on.  

No injuries were reported. 

This case is under further investigation.
