'Multi-drug intoxication' contributed to UofL cheerleader's death

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Exactly one month after a University of Louisville cheerleader was found dead in an apartment, WAVE 3 News is learning new details about how she died.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Cindy Curtsinger said Thursday that the cause of death for Danielle Cogswell will be written as an accidental multi-drug intoxication.

Cogswell was found dead in the Cardinal Towne apartment complex on the morning of July 28.
