Alabama leads in advanced-placement test improvement

Good Wednesday evening.

Did you know that Alabama leads the nation when it comes to the percentage of growth for students passing Advanced Placement classes. Those classes count toward college credit, by the way. WAFF 48's Vincent Crivelli will talk to a local teacher and a local student about the accomplishment and what it means for the community.

We're also hot on the trail of a man who walked into a Huntsville Target store, picked up several electronics items and walked out of the store without paying for them. Check out the details and the surveillance video for your chance at an up to thousand dollar reward in Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers.

And a Limestone County man is pushing for a wet-dry vote to be placed on the ballot there. The city of Athens went wet 10 years ago. Seth Parker is pushing for the county to follow suit. We'll explain what has to happen at 10.

We'll see you then!
