Police: Man robbed victim in wheelchair after taking him grocery shopping

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro Nashville police are looking for the man who they say robbed a man in a wheelchair in south Nashville.

The victim told police that a man named "Juan" agreed to help him go grocery shopping on Sunday.

They drove to the Walmart on Nolensville Pike, bought the groceries and then returned to the victim's home on Harding Place.

That's when police say "Juan" put the victim in a chokehold and stole his cash and groceries.

Anyone who recognized the man in this photo or his gray Dodge Charger is asked to call police.
