Low voter turnout for Huntsville and Scottsboro elections

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - As expected, it was a low turnout for voters in Huntsville and Scottsboro.

While there were around 76,000 registered voters in the city of Huntsville, only about 10,000 came out to vote. In the city of Scottsboro, only about 7,000 people came out to vote.

In the Huntsville City Council Race, there will be a run-off election in district 3. Both Jennie Robinson and Walt Hennessee tied with 46 percent of the vote.
