Polls have closed in two municipal elections in the Tennessee Valley.

Votes have begun to be counted in Huntsville and Scottsboro.

Huntsville's races concern two city council positions and three vacancies on the city school board. In Scottsboro, there is a race for Place 5 on the Board of Education, and three spots on the city council.
