Good Monday evening, everyone.
We're on top of a developing story involving former North Alabama lawmaker Lowell Barron. State Attorney General Luther Strange filed a motion to drop the misuse of campaign funds charges against Barron of DeKalb County. The charges stated that Barron used the campaign funds to buy gifts for staffer Rhonda Johnson.
We're also staying on top of a story out of Jackson County we told you about involving commissioners hearing from residents on the possibility of placing the Ten Commandments, along with other historical documents such as the Constitution, in the county courthouse. WAFF 48's Sarah Navoy will have more on what the public had to say about the proposal.
And we'll have more on a Drone Task Force bring proposed in the state of Alabama. WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux will have more on this example of a possible Big Brother watching over us.
We'll see you at 10.
