LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - The Hardee's on Jefferson Street in Athens scored an 80 with the Limestone County Health Department. The inspector reported seeing a worker touched frozen raw hamburger meat, then handling ready to eat food without washing their hands and without changing their gloves. Hardee's also lost points because food in a cooler was five to nine degrees above the required cold holding temperature.

The Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Athens scored a 78. The inspector reported dogs were held nearly ten degrees below the temperature required to prevent bacterial growth. The inspector also reported that the drink nozzles needed cleaned.

The In & Out Mini Mart in Madison remains on the Limestone County Health Department's reinspection schedule after scoring a 74. They scored a 72 and an 80 during their previous two inspections. The inspector found fish filets in hot holding, not hot enough, ten degrees below the required temperature. And the inspector reported they were not sanitizing correctly.

The J Mart at 1100 us Highway 72 east In Athens scored an 82. The inspector reported that they were storing dirty knives as though they were clean.

Also, cheese sticks, chicken livers and chicken tenders were 10 to 20 degrees below the required temperature.

The Whitt's Barbeque on the Alabama side of Ardmore, which is a cooking only facility, scored an 83 last time. But this time, they scored a 91, getting off the Limestone County Health Department's reinspection schedule.

    The Guntersville Police Department have released news details on a double shooting late Friday afternoon that left one man dead.

    The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m., when police from multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a 911 call reporting two people had been shot on Edmonds Road.
