Families Inc. score a touchdown, Howl for Humanity organization

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Arkansas State University's Howl made an appearance at the Families Inc. Counseling Services in Jonesboro Tuesday evening.

He was there to help Families Inc. launch a new program; Score a Touchdown, Howl for Humanity.

Mark Thurman, CEO of Families Inc. said everyone gathered Tuesday evening for a very special drawing.

“They've gathered here tonight to draw for a home game. Each one of the six nonprofits will have a home game they will receive benefits from. Every time the Red Wolves score a touchdown at a home game this year they will receive $250 per touchdown. No limit!”

Family Care Center won the first game on August 30.

The other five nonprofit sponsors are Salvation Army, Mission outreach, Hope Circle, Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, and CASA.

If there are no touchdowns, a minimum of $500 will be given.
